The Trimble community is mourning the loss of Jamie Lou McClelland, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose life was marked by determination, adventure, family and an enduring enthusiasm for living.
McClelland died peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by loved ones.
For those who knew Jamie, her life was defined by the energy and determination she brought to everything she did. She was remembered as someone who worked hard, embraced new experiences and encouraged the people around her to believe in themselves.
Her interests reflected her adventurous personality. Jamie enjoyed softball, motorcycles, music, movies and road trips, finding happiness in both everyday moments and new experiences. She approached life with a willingness to make the most of every opportunity and encouraged others to do the same.
Jamie believed strongly in the philosophy of working hard and playing hard. Whether she was focused on her career, spending time with family, taking part in softball or preparing for another adventure, she brought enthusiasm and commitment to the experience.
